Three awards will be presented at the gala dinner:

The Klaus Hannemann Lifetime Achievement Award

This prestigious award honors and recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to high-speed vehicle science and technology on a global scale.  

Paper Award

Each year, the HiSST TC is granting at the Conference both a Best Student Paper Awards and a Best Paper Award. The 1^st screening will start already at abstract submittal by pre-selecting a dozen of paper abstracts in each of these two categories. A 2^nd screening will be based upon the full manuscript being available prior to the conference start along with the presentation during one of the sessions.

The announcement of the awards in both categories will be done at the Gala Dinner along with the HiSST Certificate. The awardees will be given the podium at the last conference day to present their work to all HiSST 2027 attendees.
